Evening to discover the gem wines of Val d'Aosta

What a valley!

Surrounded by the giants Mont-Blanc, Matterhorn, Gran Paradiso, we really feel in the heart of the Alpine massif. Our gaze no longer knows where to rest in the middle of these grandiose landscapes. And what about the preserved villages with their typical architecture with houses with columns and slate roofs!

What have we brought back for you to discover? All the authenticity of a unique terroir... The mountains succeed well in the vines, we will demonstrate it to you during this evening.

Finding vines up to more than 1100 m is not common. The climate is so particular, hot and dry, that, even at this altitude, vines are cultivated. Grape varieties used all over the world (Pinot Noir, Chardonnay...) but with very particular profiles! But also endemic grape varieties (Mayolet, Petit Rouge...) which make it possible to produce wines with astonishing profiles.

By participating in this evening, you will taste the wines of the most famous estates of Val d'Aosta, as well as others much more confidential which are really worth the detour.

After an introduction to tasting, we will introduce you to each of the selected wines. ​
