About us
This estate, whose vault and cellar are in the former castle of the Lords of Mérande, is located on the Gallo-Roman site of Arbin. Savoie wines: Mondeuse, Roussette, Chignin Bergeron…. Biodynamic vineyard.

A noble and varied terroir: The estate lives in the middle of clay-limestone and stony scree whose altitude and ideal exposure (south and south-east on the steep hillsides of the Bauges massif), glacial moraines more or less topped with these same scree, marls, calcschists...
An estate with original grape varieties:
- Le or la Jacquère in the Vin de Savoie or Apremont appellation located on a small plot of old vines at the foot of Mont Granier.
- L'Altesse, giving the Roussette de Savoie appellation, is a selection from the 2nd or even 3rd selection, aged in oak barrels.
- Gamay, imported from Beaujolais after the phylloxera crisis, it is vinified in red and rosé, giving two excellent thirst-quenching wines for the summer.
- La Roussanne: grown in the town of Montmélian, it allows the production of the famous Bergeron.
- A great grape variety, our MONDEUSE NOIRE: this vine was found in the wild in the Rhone forests, domesticated by the Allobroges, quoted by Columelle and Pliny the Elder “(…) Allobrogica frigidis locis gelu maturescens et colore nigra(… )”. It is close to Syrah, producing the great wines of the Côtes du Rhône du Nord, an exceptional wine... Appreciated in its youth by true amateurs, it will benefit from letting its tannins rest for between 5 and 10 years, or even longer for certain vintages.
