About us
A family estate for generations, the brothers took over the vineyard facing Mont Granier on the slopes of Abymes and Apremont. Julia and Arnaud look forward to introducing you to their passion for wine and sharing a friendly moment with you!
The estate was taken over by the Cochet family in 1974. The vineyard previously belonged to a distant cousin of the family. Grandfather “Yves” knew how to breathe a unique breath of life into this place from the earliest years. He was respected by other local winegrowers for his good nature and his own joie de vivre despite the fact that he only became a winegrower late in life. In fact, the family had owned the restaurant “Le Dauphinois” in Aix-les-Bains for years. Children and grandchildren therefore came to the hotel one after the other to finally take over the wine estate, each in turn. Thierry was the 2nd generation to become a winegrower at Granges Longes and infuse his passion for the vine to these two children: Julia and Arnaud. Today it is up to the 3rd generation to make the estate shine with the acquisition of the new plot located in Apremont. Brother and sister have long wanted to embark on the path of wine tourism and thus offer accommodation for the curious in furnished tourist accommodation or even create fun activities to introduce the world of wine to as many people as possible...
