About us
Producers of fine Savoie wines since 1840, the Tiollier family brings their terroir to fruition and expresses all its subtleties. The family vineyard is cultivated with respect for nature and tradition. Conversion Organic farming
This 23-hectare estate is located in the PNR of the Massif des Bauges Exceptional exposure for these steep hillsides which dominate the southern flank of the Combe de Savoie, in a majestic setting, facing the chain of the Alps.
This vineyard clinging to the southern flank of the Combe de Savoie has been cultivated for generations.
Sylvain Tiollier, winemaker, happily combines ancestral knowledge, patience and respect for nature, values present at each stage of his work.
The Mondeuses, Roussette and Jacquères grape varieties find their favorite terroir here.
Since 2008, the new cellar, installed on the estate, allows a very respectful development of the grapes: reception of the grapes by gravity, strict temperature control. This precision work allows us to use the minimum of inputs in order to let the terroir express itself.
The wines are aged in our underground cellar at a naturally stable temperature all year round. Aging lasts from 3 to 12 months. Most of our wines are aged in stainless steel vats in order to preserve their typicity and fruitiness. Only a few vintages go into oak barrels.
Domaine de l'Idylle adheres to the Charter of Independent Winegrowers. We respect our land, work our vines, bottle the wine on the property.
