The Chemin des Vignes, balcony route above the Isère plain, on the foothills of Bauges. It crosses the Combe and the cluse of Savoie wine, most often on the route of the old Roman road which linked Vienna to Milan.
You will discover a remarkable built and landscape heritage: castles and fortified houses, former priories, Benedictine monastery, bourgeois residences, old mills and of course many cellars open for tasting.
The linear itinerary path of about thirty kilometers will take you from Fréterive to Chignin (Plan a return by car). A return by train is possible for the day, taking the part of the path between Montmélian and Saint-Pierre d'Albigny.
