About Us

The family estate, Jean-Charles Girard-Madoux, located in the town of Chignin, operates 6,5 hectares; where the Jacquère, Mondeuse, Roussanne and Gamay grape varieties rub shoulders.

The Girard-Madoux family owned this wine estate for a long time in the commune of Chignin, chief town, south-east of Chambéry, but the estate was sold in 1976.

The vines only left the family for a few years, until Jean-Charles Girard-Madoux, the family's grandson, moved back there a month after completing his viticulture-oenology BTS.

In a cellar full of charm of yesteryear, passionate about wine and the work of the vine, Jean-Charles Girard-Madoux invites you to come and taste his Savoie wines.

It has also partnered with Agro-Alp, to also offer you temporary catering at Cœur des Vignes. Meals take place in the vineyards in summer, in the cellar in winter.
