We feel that you have some under the pedal! Departing from the stations of Chambéry or Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny in Savoie, set off for 2 days on the V62 and V63 cycle routes among the Alpine vineyards.
It's time to get back in the saddle! After a good breakfast, go to the "tartines-blocks" to begin a 2-day journey from station to station between Chambéry and Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny by taking the V63 cycle route (from the south of Chambéry) or V62 (from Saint-Pierre-d'Albigny).
These itineraries in the valley, fully signposted, mainly follow the greenways away from the tumultuous car traffic. Wait, wait, what's that tune? We're not talking about what you whistle on a bike, but about pure mountain air! Yes, it's surprising at first, but don't panic, you'll quickly get used to the atmosphere of these peaceful Savoyard landscapes, between vineyards, lakes and peaks.
On the program: contemplative moments in front of the majestic massifs, wine tasting in the vineyards of Cœur de Savoie, a little dip in the Lac de Carouge, visit of the Alpine villages... Head in the clouds, or on the handlebars, it's up to you duty.
For the night (optional):
• At the Clef des Champs hotel in Montmélian in the heart of the Combe de Savoie at the foot of La Savoyarde mountain which watches over the valley.
• In a winegrower's guest room Chez Sylvie & Guy Quenard in Chignin, in the heart of the family estate, in their charming 18th century building, with the possibility of reserving for a food and wine dinner at their table d'hôte.
