About us
Created in 1997 on 4 ha, the Nature Reserve peaks at 450 meters. Its flora has more than 2 different species, some of which are unique, and the fauna has more than 062 species, including rare species (little owl, black grouse).
Almost entirely located in the mountain and sub-alpine levels, the landscapes of the Reserve are divided between forests, mountain pastures and rock faces. The reserve is home to more than a third of France's orchid flora (including more than 800 Venus slipper plants). It is an excellent illustration of a preserved mid-mountain limestone environment with pastoralism still active but locally declining. No organized visits.
