Due to the exceptional level of drought and the many outbreaks of fire which mobilize the intervention capacities of the firefighters, access to the forest trails is prohibited by municipal decree in Vizille until further notice.

From Recoin to Chamrousse, reach Roche Béranger then descend to Vizille via the Col de la Madeleine. Crossing the hamlets of Mont Sec and Montjean. Arrival on Vizille by the national (100m), watch out for the traffic.
Stage :
This last stage is different and reveals its charm through its essentially forest descent. A splendid forest with multiple species. The viewpoints on the Matheysin plateau equal the previous more mountainous ones. The hamlets of Mont Sec and Montjean are authentic and make us discover the tranquility of the people who live there. Sustained descent to Vizille where you arrive behind the castle and its estate. Vizille, cradle of the Revolution: the historical break is essential and you will know everything about the birth of the Revolution.
