Stéphane Verdet is a mountain guide and Savoie Mont Blanc Heritage Guide (Tours de Montmayeur). He has a particular sensitivity for the history of mountain agriculture and a passion for passing it on to young people.
Stephane Verdet offers guided tours for adults and students using data updated during recent excavations of the site, as well as research data from departmental archives, with a particular look at the epistemology of medieval archaeology. The site also includes a self-guided tour called “At the school of archaeology”. But it also offers fun visits for young people and children by exploiting the historical data of the site to offer an "escape game" or "role playing" type activities or manual creations, which bring the site to life (construction of mini-hovels, manufacturing of wooden throwing weapons)
