The Vélo-Route V62 is a route crossing the departments of Savoie and Haute Savoie. Exclusively in the valley, it is accessible, fully marked and uses greenways for a large part of the route.
The V62, long-distance route, starts in Haute Savoie and joins Chambéry via Annecy and Albertville. It then connects to the V63 south of the agglomeration of Chambéry, and continues towards the department of Isère in the South or towards Lac du Bourget and Chanaz in the North.
Arriving from Annecy via a perfectly laid out greenway, the route joins Savoie a little before Ugine. You will cross all along the route a diversity of Savoyard landscapes, between lakes and mountains: Tasting and discovery in the vineyards of Cœur de Savoie, Swimming and leisure around the lakes and bodies of water, contemplation of the Bauges and Beaufortain massifs, from Belledonnes and view of Mont Blanc. The crossings of the towns of Albertville and Montmélian or that of several villages will be an opportunity to take a break or mark a stage.
