Taste the Chemin des Vignes between Chignin and Fréterive
The vineyard path is a hiking route on the balcony of the southern foothills of the Bauges massif. This thirty-kilometre hiking trail will take you from vineyards to villages (from east to west, you will cross the towns of Fréterive, Saint-Pierre d'Albigny, Saint-Jean de la Porte, Cruet, Arbin, Montmélian, Francin and Chignin). The path of the vineyards will allow you to taste the wines and the landscapes of Savoy. This path can be taken in sections. You can use the SNCF stations of Montmélian and Saint-Pierre D'Albigny to return to your starting point.
In order to deepen the discovery of this wine region, 4 fun and educational thematic loops punctuate the route. These are accessible all year round.
