The Tour des Bauges is a 130 km route by bike, with less than 700m of cumulative elevation gain, i.e. an average elevation gain of 0,6%!
This route will take you from the old town of Annecy to Aix-les-Bains via the Heart of Savoie.
This 3/4 day adventure will allow you to swim in the largest lake in France, to taste Annecy's sweetness or to contemplate Mont-Blanc.
In the heart of Savoie, on the southern piedmont of the Bauges massif, you will have the opportunity to cross our alpine vineyards while contemplating, in the background, the imposing peaks of the Belledonne massif. The opportunity to taste a glass of Savoie wine or discover the amazing history of our wine nurseries. If you are passionate about viticulture, push the door of the Savoie Vine and Wine Museum in Montmélian. Grape varieties, ampelography, vine pruning will have no more secrets for you. The history of our vineyards will be told to you through testimonials from winegrowers, geologists and even nurserymen.
Want more adventure? So set out to conquer the Château de Miolans located on the heights of Saint-Pierre d'Albigny and take up the challenge of its escape game. Did you know that the valley you cross is a mecca for paragliding? Look up and you will undoubtedly see multicolored aerial brooms.

The tour of the Bauges by bike is part of the V62 and V63 routes linking Annecy to Valence named La Belle Via and is therefore done in complete safety because the vast majority of the route is on greenways, prohibited to motor vehicle traffic.
